Doctor Cha (2023)

Doctor Cha centers on the inspiring journey of Cha Jung Sook, a woman who abandoned her medical career decades ago to embrace life as a full-time housewife. For 20 years, she dedicated herself to her family, while her husband, Seo In Ho, flourished as a strict, sensitive, and thoroughgoing chief surgeon at a university hospital. After two decades away from her initial passion, Cha Jung Sook makes a courageous decision: to restart her medical residency. This compelling drama follows her as she re-enters the demanding medical world, grappling with professional challenges, family dynamics, and the pursuit of a long-dormant dream. Can she succeed in her comeback and reignite her true calling as a doctor? The series explores themes of self-discovery, resilience, and the power of second chances.
